Prototype Customization at Madsen Steel Wire Products
When it comes to wire fabrication and wire forming, Madsen Steel Wire Products is the company you want to choose! We have wire straighteners and wire cut off machines that allow accurate repeatability in large or short runs. Our prototype shop can make fixtures to run all the fabrication in a small prototype environment and then reproduce production runs of wire formed parts with full functioning CNC controls. That is what makes Madsen Steel Wire special…our ability to make one or two for prototypes and then make thousands exactly the same.
How It Works
Our wire fabrication operation handles wire from 1/2” diameter wire to 14ga and also our 2” and smaller tube production.
Once the prototype has been approved by the customer, there are several methods for producing production parts. “Hard tooling” can be created where wire is fed into the tooling and the radii and bends are formed by series of tools or one tool.
Our wire mesh welded products are used in many commercial and industrial applications. We can butt weld or T weld wire as well.
