Options and Finishes
Madsen Steel Wire Products manufactures custom wire baskets from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Carbon steel is our most economical option, but it typically requires additional finishing to prevent corrosion. Stainless steel and aluminum are naturally corrosion resistant and better suited for use in damp or caustic environments. Whereas stainless steel is the stronger of the two options, it is also the heaviest. Aluminum is less durable but much lighter.
Wire baskets can be finished in vinyl or powder coating, or they can be electroplated. We use wires ranging in size from .080” to .50”, and have extensive bending, shaping and cutting capabilities that allow us to customize any product to your specifications.
